För att förstå samtiden och därmed sannolikt framtiden krävs det kunskap om det förflutna. Vad vet vi egentligen om Mellanöstern?

Jag har nog skrivit om de allra flesta tänkbara, geopolitiska ämnen även om det oftast bara handlat om att jag upptäckt intressanta infallsvinklar som jag tyckt saknats i samtidsdebatten.

Mellanöstern har jag dock såvitt jag kan komma ihåg inte tagit upp.
